Boston Boston’s New Year’s Eve celebration, First Night, is quickly approaching, and city officials are appealing to the public for assistance in ensuring the safety of this popular annual family event.

Since the start of the pandemic, First Night has been rescheduled for two days in Copley Square and the Back Bay, with full programming and indoor events.

Starting at 7 p.m., families can enjoy fireworks over Boston Common after watching a parade travel from Copley to the Common. The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park are planning to once again host a fireworks show over Boston Harbor at midnight.

So, if you need a car ride to this Boston First Night, New Year Event we will be happy to provide it. Logan Airport Taxi Cab, will support the city officials and police department in planning and executing the public safety plan. We know Boston and Massachusetts roads very well and we help locals and foreign visitors abide by the rules and enjoy the event.

The Back Bay and waterfront areas of Boston will experience increased traffic and limited parking options due to First Night celebrations. People who plan to attend the festivities in the City are urged not to drive there. Learn about the parking and traffic regulations here.
